Editorial status

The first stories are being collected

RegionalOZ is speaking with people who have moved to regional Australia so that the experiences published here are real, specific and given with consent. No interviews have been published yet, and we will not fill this page with invented accounts in the meantime.

  • Interviews in progress with people who moved for work and family reasons
  • Contributor consent and review completed before publication
  • Each story will be dated so readers know when it was recorded

We will not invent interviews or publish reviews to fill the page. When the first stories are ready, they will appear here with the date they were recorded.

Editorial standards

How contributor stories are handled

Stories describe individual experience. They are never presented as migration advice or as evidence that a pathway will work for someone else.

  • Every story is published with the contributor’s written permission.
  • Contributors review how their story is edited before publication.
  • We do not pay for stories, and publication is never conditional on a positive account.
  • Stories describe individual experience and are not migration advice.
  • We do not publish case outcomes, visa approvals or claims that a pathway will work for others.
  • Personal details that could identify family members are removed unless permission is given.
